![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Look at my photo and fake smile because there is nothing in this book makes you smile! My dog is scared so much and had nightmares because I read him some passages!!!įive- this book turned me into creepy paranoid who is afraid of her own shadow, leave the lights on before sleeping, scream as soon as hearing any approaching footsteps inside the house, wow actually I was doing all of these before, but it’s still good to point a finger to something as a reason of my awkward behaviors- stars!!!!Īs soon as I got the printed copy of this book, I became so agitated because there was another gift with the copy! Today’s theme is all about diverse enemies-to-lovers romances, and I have two to share with you! I might start doing more double reviews, because I feel bad about bombarding you with so many posts (also, I couldn’t figure out how to turn either of these headers into horizontals, so it was easier to smoosh them together, ha!). ![]() ![]() ![]() It’s a story of opposites finding common ground. (I think the timing is off, but considering the second book in this review, it wouldn’t be unheard of). Even if you only wonder if the child of Daisy’s might be Gatsby’s. But in the end, you have read something that can be considered “out there” (I mean are these people for real? And sadly, yes, I think they are) and hopefully it makes you think. But in the end, what it is all about is people putting on airs and letting the chips fall wherever. You can say that our narrator is unreliable, judgmental, the whole works. I am not going to go all English Lit on you and say the meaning of the story but will tell you it is about several 20-to 30-something rich, spoiled, brats (editorial comment) and their boredom.
